Ahrena is a crystal and mineral-infused essential oil and room-spray brand created in Mexico.
Ahrena was created by two mexican women who share a love for healing through minerals and also happen to share a great-great grandmother! Ahrena has a line of roll-ons and sprays infused with essential oils and natural crystals and minerals to promote natural wellbeing.

About the Name:
The idea for the name comes from combining the names of the two founder’s great-grandmothers (who were sisters Andrea & Alicia). These cousins wanted to pay homage to their great-grandmothers while also giving their brand a name that reflected its core: mineral. The name sounds like “arena” and means sand in Spanish, their native language. Since scientists define sand as loose grains of minerals and rock, we thought the name was quite fitting without loosing its personal meaning.
Product Photography
When it came to designing the set for the product photography we chose to replicate sand dunes with cloth rather than use real sand. This was to highlight the transformative nature of sand into more solid things and to keep from giving it a “beach vibe”.
The packaging design was kept simple as the roll-on bottle labels were small and had to include the oils utilized and the purpose.
